Real Estate NQF L5 (SAQA ID 20188) is the required qualification that needs to be completed by all estate agents who want to perform the duties of a manager or Principal.
The Real Estate FETC NQF L5 qualification is quality assured by SSETA.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is introduced by SAQA for candidates who feel that they have the necessary knowledge, practical and workplace experience to formally request to compile a RPL Portfolio of Evidence (PoE) to be assessed by an accredited Skills Development Provider (SDP).

Note: It is possible to be exempted from your NQF L5 qualification if you have a university degree with subjects that are related to the real estate industry and fall within the EAAB Exemption Matrix.

The Real Estate NQF L5 RPL includes:
Orientation Guide: This guide gives you the overview of the qualification content, ensuring you know what to expect as you progress through your portfolio.
RPL Portfolio Guide: This is broken up into seven sections (Section A – G) which are self-explanatory and easy to follow. The portfolio guide (PoE) comes as a template to add all evidence and required documents. To make life easier, we supply this portfolio guide online in Word format so that you can type your answer directly into it after each question.
